NEWT Launches Phone System Buyback And Trade-Up Programs

Canadian Telecom Leader Partners with Polycom Helping Businesses Save

Cambridge, Ontario – November 03, 2014 - Canadian Telecom Innovator, NEWT Business Services, is excited to announce the launch of the Fall Buyback and Trade-Up Programs. Until December 31st, 2014, NEWT, working withPolycom, will deliver two great programs designed to earn businesses money on their old phones and business phone system hardware.

The Buyback Program: NEWT works with a Polycom partner to provide businesses a quote for their old and/or existing phones and PBX hardware. Polycom then buys back any existing phones, PBXs, video and collaboration equipment, including routers, switches, servers, and other related equipment manufactured by any company. NEWT packs up the old equipment during installation of the new NEWT Business Phone System. Then the gear is shipped to Polycom and the NEWT customer waits for the cheque in the mail.

NEWT VP of Marketing, Mike Brown said, “NEWT is a Polycom ‘Choice Partner’ and this program re-cycles old telephone systems and then uses the proceeds for customer upgrades on their new business phone system and gear.”

NEWT is also excited to help coordinate the Trade-Up Program. Polycom is offering a rebate to any business that purchases a NEWT Business Phone System and previously used Polycom hardware.

Polycom.jpgPolycom is essentially sending the business a cheque for upgrading their Polycom hardware (the NEWT Business Phone System is equipped with Polycom hardware). Businesses are then free to do as they wish with their old Polycom equipment.

These programs save businesses valuable time, inventory space and money. Businesses need no longer have to deal with the hassle of selling their old equipment undervalued to a third party or worry about their e-waste disposal.
